Unique... Meaningful... Intentional...

Hello! I'm Nicole Huff, and I'm the artist behind 323 Millworks.

My story...
I have lived in the Appalachian Mountains my entire life. I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Appalachia's largest city. Being from Pittsburgh, I was raised in a family of steel mill workers... blue-collar, hardworking, family-centered, community-driven laborers. I take great pride in those roots! I grew up learning to build, fix & provide by the sweat of my brow, and I'm forever grateful for those lessons. Living near the mountains, we hiked, fished, and always had a garden. Community was everything.
Today, I call Roanoke, VA home. I'm nestled right in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I couldn't be happier to live in such a beautiful place. It's what inspires all of my work. There's just something about the mountains that makes you want to slow down and take it all in, pay attention to the details, and remember what truly matters in life.
From Pittsburgh to Roanoke, one thing has never changed... living among the Appalachian Mountains has impacted every part of my life, from how I live to what I appreciate and see as valuable.
Through the years, I've grown to understand the importance of surrounding myself with what I love, things that have meaning and intention. I hope to help you do the same.

Our world is filled with mass produced "stuff". I want something different. I don't want what everyone else has. And if you're here, you probably don't either. I want to fill my home with things that bring me joy when I look at them, pieces that remind me of the great beauty that surrounds us, pieces that make my home more inviting and inspire great conversations. That's what truly makes a home.

My style is a mixture of rustic, modern and industrial, with a focus on great texture and pattern.

This combination allows for the creation of meaningful living spaces that reflect your own unique style and allows you to embrace your individuality, expressing who you are and what you love...without compromise. I strive for high quality, unique, handmade goods and am dedicated to the preservation of American manufacturing. My hope is to inspire you to rethink what you surround yourself with. Is it beautiful? Does it speak to who you are? Do you absolutely love it? Or is it the same everyday big box store "stuff" that everyone else fills their homes with?

I'd love to help you find the perfect piece for your home or office, one that you will feel a connection to, one that you'll want to pass down as an heirloom...because it has become that special to you.  Let's chat...
